چکیده
Abstract Modi ed covariance Pisarenko harmonic decomposition and reformed Pisarenko harmonic decomposition methods are three closed form frequency estimators which are derived from the linear prediction property of sinusoidal signals In this paper we develop the recursive least squares type realizations of these estimators for a single real tone and their frequency tracking performances are contrasted via computer simulations

Estimation of LOS Rates for Target Tracking Problems using EKF and UKF Algorithms- a Comparative Study
One of the most important problem in target tracking is Line Of Sight (LOS) rate estimation for using from PN (proportional navigation) guidance law. This paper deals on estimation of position and LOS rates of target with respect to the pursuer from available noisy RF seeker and tracker measurements. Due to many important for exact estimation on tracking problems must target position and Line O...

متن کاملLow Complexity and High speed in Leading DCD ERLS Algorithm
Adaptive algorithms lead to adjust the system coefficients based on the measured data. This paper presents a dichotomous coordinate descent method to reduce the computational complexity and to improve the tracking ability based on the variable forgetting factor when there are a lot of changes in the system. Vedic mathematics is used to implement the multiplier and the divider in the VFF equatio...
متن کاملComparative tracking performance of the LMS and RLS algorithms for chirped narrowband signal recovery
This paper studies the comparative tracking performance of the recursive least squares (RLS) and least mean square (LMS) algorithms for time-varying inputs, specifically for linearly chirped narrowband input signals in additive white Gaussian noise. It is shown that the structural differences in the implementation of the LMS and RLS weight updates produce regions where the LMS performance excee...
متن کاملA time-frequency domain approach of heart rate estimation from photoplethysmographic (PPG) signal
ObjectiveHeart rate monitoring using wrist type Photoplethysmographic (PPG) signals is getting popularity because of construction simplicity and low cost of wearable devices. The task becomes very difficult due to the presence of various motion artifacts. The objective is to develop algorithms to reduce the effect of motion artifacts and thus obtain accurate heart rate estimation. MethodsPropos...
